Contacts Dashboard

Overview

The Contacts dashboard is the main place where you manage contacts in Compass. From this dashboard, you can create new contacts, edit contacts, view contact details, import contacts, and delete contacts (including bulk delete). It also includes access to the Contacts module areas: Dashboard and Custom Fields.

How to access

In the Compass sidebar, go to Contacts, then select the Dashboard tab.

Key features

  • Create New Contact to add a new contact.
  • Edit Contact to update an existing contact.
  • View Contact Details to open and review a contact’s information.
  • Import Contacts to import contacts.
  • Bulk Delete to delete multiple contacts.
  • Delete Contact to delete a contact.

Field descriptions

The Contacts dashboard includes contact information fields used for creating, viewing, and editing contacts:

  • First Name: The contact’s first name.
  • Last Name: The contact’s last name.
  • Email: The contact’s email address.
  • Phone: The contact’s phone number.
  • Company: The company associated with the contact.
  • Position: The contact’s position.
  • Location: The contact’s location.
  • Timezone: The contact’s timezone.
  • Date of Birth / Date Of Birth: The contact’s date of birth.
  • LinkedIn / Linked In Url: The contact’s LinkedIn information.
  • Internal Notes: Internal notes about the contact.
  • Project Relationships: Project relationships linked to the contact.

The Contacts dashboard table includes these columns:

  • Actions, Photo, First Name, Last Name, Email, Company, Position, Phone, Location, Timezone, Date of Birth, Project Relationships, LinkedIn, Internal Notes, Created At, Updated At, Created By, Updated By.

The Contact Related Projects table includes these columns:

  • Actions, Project Name, Role.
