Planned Income (Draft Financial Plan)

Overview

Planned Income is part of the Draft Financial Plan flow in the Finance module. You use it to define Planned Income and review related values such as Forecasted Amount, Planned Amount, and Variance for income lines and planned income projects.

How to access

  1. In the Finance module sidebar, click Financial Plans.
  2. Click + Create New Financial Plan to start the new financial plan wizard (Choose Year → Planned Income → Planned Cost).
  3. In Choose Year, enter Year.
  4. Continue to Planned Income (wizard step) to work on planned income for the draft financial plan.

Field descriptions

  • Year: The year you choose when creating the financial plan.
  • Description: A description you enter when choosing the year.
  • Planned Income: The planned income area of the draft financial plan.
  • Planned Income Contingency: The contingency field for planned income.
  • Income Contingency: The income contingency value shown for planned income.
  • Income Line: An income line you work with in planned income.
  • Income Line Item: An item within an income line.
  • Income Line Entity: The entity field associated with an income line.
  • Income Project Entity: The project entity field used for planned income projects.
  • Planned Income Projects: The list of projects included in planned income.
  • Planned Projects: The planned projects value shown in planned income.
  • Forecasted Projects: The forecasted projects value shown in planned income.
  • Forecasted Amount: The forecasted amount value for planned income.
  • Planned Amount: The planned amount value for planned income.
  • Variance: The difference value shown for planned income.
  • Variance % / Variance Percentage: The variance percentage value shown for planned income.
  • Notes: Notes associated with planned income entries.
  • Project: The project field used in planned income.
  • Budget: The budget field used when defining planned income based on project budgets.
