Planned Income (Draft Financial Plan)
Overview
Planned Income is part of the Draft Financial Plan flow in the Finance module. You use it to define Planned Income and review Income details, including Planned Income Contingency, Forecasted Amount, and Variance values.
How to access
- In the Finance module sidebar, click Financial Plans.
- Click Create New Financial Plan.
- In Choose Year, enter Year.
- Continue to the Planned Income step (Draft Financial Plan).
Key features
- Define Planned Income based on Project Budgets.
- View and work with Income Lines Value and Income Line Item details.
- Use Manual Project Select and Manual Override Banner when working with planned income data.
- Use Sync New Data to sync new data into the planned income draft.
- Use Reset List to Filter Criteria to reset the list to your filter criteria.
- Click Save Changes to save updates to the draft.
- Work with planned income Mode, Period, and Month.
Field descriptions
- Planned Income: The planned income value in the draft financial plan.
- Planned Income Contingency: The contingency value used for planned income.
- Income Contingency: The contingency value shown for income.
- Income Line: A planned income line shown in the draft.
- Income Line Entity: The entity associated with an income line.
- Income Line Item: A specific item within an income line.
- Income Project Entity: The project entity associated with planned income.
- Planned Projects: The projects included as planned projects for planned income.
- Forecasted Projects: The projects included as forecasted projects for planned income.
- Forecasted Amount: The forecasted amount shown for planned income.
- Planned Amount: The planned amount shown for planned income.
- Variance: The variance value shown for planned income.
- Variance % / Variance Percentage: The variance percentage shown for planned income.
- Notes: Notes associated with planned income entries.
- Name: The name shown for a planned income line or project row.
- Type: The type shown in the Income Line table.
- Forecasted: The forecasted value shown in the Income Line table.
- Planned: The planned value shown in the Income Line table.
- Project: The project associated with planned income.
- Project at Risk: Indicates whether a project is marked as at risk in the Planned Income Projects table.
- Project Target Completion Date: The project target completion date shown for a planned income project.
- Risk-Adjusted Completion Date: The risk-adjusted completion date shown for a planned income project.
- Primary Project Director: The primary project director shown for a planned income project.
- Description: The description entered when creating the financial plan (shown with the plan’s information).
- Year: The year selected when creating the financial plan.
- Month: The month used when working with planned income.
- Period: The period used for planned income.
- Mode: The mode used for planned income.
- Income Step Label: The label shown for the planned income step in the draft flow.
