Projects Dashboard

Overview

The Projects dashboard is the main place where you view projects in Compass. It uses the Dashboard (shared PersonalDashboard widget) for the Projects module. From this dashboard, you can use available user actions such as Bulk Delete, Create New Project, and Edit Project.

How to access

In the Projects module, select the Dashboard tab.

Key features

  • View the Dashboard for the Projects module (shared PersonalDashboard widget).
  • View projects in the Projects Table with the listed table columns.
  • Click Bulk Delete to remove multiple projects.
  • Click Create New Project to start a new project.
  • Click Edit Project to update an existing project.

Field descriptions

Projects Table columns

  • Actions: Shows available actions for a project.
  • Project Name: The name of the project.
  • Internal: Indicates whether the project is internal.
  • Private: Indicates whether the project is private.
  • Primary Target Date: The project’s primary target date.
  • Secondary Target Date: The project’s secondary target date.
  • Primary Director: The primary director for the project.
  • Secondary Director: The secondary director for the project.
  • Status: The project’s status.
  • Stage: The project’s stage.
  • At Risk: Indicates whether the project is marked at risk.
  • Risk Type: The project’s risk type.
  • Risk Adjusted Date: The project’s risk-adjusted date.
  • Risk Notes: Notes related to project risk.
  • Project Health: The project’s health value.
  • Blueprint: The blueprint associated with the project.
  • Parent Project: The parent project linked to the project.
  • Tags: Tags applied to the project.
  • Created At: When the project was created.
  • Updated At: When the project was last updated.
  • Created By: The user who created the project.
  • Updated By: The user who last updated the project.
