Project Overview

Overview

Project Overview is part of the Projects module where you view project details. From this feature, you work with a project’s overview information and related project content that is available through the project tabs.

How to access

  1. In the Compass sidebar, click Projects.
  2. Click a project in the Projects table.
  3. In the project page, click the Overview tab.

Key features

  • View Project Details for a selected project.
  • Use the project tabs that are available in your workspace. Tabs can vary by workspace, and Project Plan is under development (disabled): Overview, Project Details, Tasks, Timesheets, Budgets, Travel, Notes, Contacts, Related Project, Surveys, Files, Dayrates, Billings, Expenses.
  • Open Project History.
  • Open Project Risk Notes.
  • View Latest Budget Updates, Latest Project Notes, and Latest Project Updates.
  • View Upcoming Events and Event Calendar details.

Field descriptions

The following fields are listed for projects in this module:

  • Project Name: The name of the project.
  • Internal (shown as Internal in the Projects table): Indicates the project is internal.
  • Private (shown as Private in the Projects table): Indicates the project is private.
  • Primary Target Completion Date (shown as Primary Target Date in the Projects table): The primary target date for the project.
  • Secondary Target Completion Date (shown as Secondary Target Date in the Projects table): A secondary target date for the project.
  • Primary Project Director (shown as Primary Director in the Projects table): The primary director for the project.
  • Secondary Project Director (shown as Secondary Director in the Projects table): The secondary director for the project.
  • Status: The project status.
  • Stage: The project stage.
  • At Risk (shown as At Risk in the Projects table): Indicates the project is marked at risk.
  • Risk Type: The project’s risk type.
  • Risk-Adjusted Completion Date (shown as Risk Adjusted Date in the Projects table): The risk-adjusted completion date.
  • Project Risk Notes (shown as Risk Notes in the Projects table): Notes related to project risk.
  • Project Health: The project health value.
  • Blueprint (shown as Blueprint in the Projects table): The blueprint associated with the project.
  • Parent Project: The parent project relationship.
  • Project Tags (shown as Tags in the Projects table): Tags applied to the project.
  • Created At, Updated At, Created By, Updated By: Audit fields shown in the Projects table.
