Projects Settings

Overview​

Projects Settings contains project-related settings labels and actions listed in the Projects module summary, such as Project Access, Project Status Options, Project Phases, Risk Type Options, General Settings, and workspace sharing fields.

How to access​

  1. In the Projects module header navigation, click Settings.

Key features​

  • Settings (permission required): Settings is listed as a capability-gated feature in the Projects module summary.
  • Add project access users: Use Add Project Access User with Project Access.
  • Manage project status options: Use Add Project Status Options and Select Default Status Option.
  • Manage project phases: Use Add Project Phases.
  • Manage risk type options: Use Add Risk Type Options and Available Project Risk Types.
  • General settings: Use General Settings (shown with General Settings Label in the UI).
  • Workspace sharing settings: Use Share Projects with other Workspaces / Share with other Workspaces, including Allow Other Workspaces To See Projects and Select Workspaces to share Projects with (also shown as Workspaces To Share Projects With).

Field descriptions​

  • Project Access

    • Add Project Access User: Adds a user to the project access list.
    • Project Access Item: An entry within Project Access.
    • Project Access Array Field Change: Project Access Array Field Change.

  • Project Status Options

    • Add Project Status Options: Adds a status option.
    • Project Status Options: The list of available status options.
    • Select Default Status Option: Sets the default status option.

  • Project Phases

    • Add Project Phases: Adds phases for projects.
    • Project Phases: The list of phases.

  • Risk types

    • Add Risk Type Options: Adds risk type options.
    • Available Project Risk Types: Available Project Risk Types.

  • Workspace sharing

    • Share Projects with other Workspaces / Share with other Workspaces: Share Projects with other Workspaces / Share with other Workspaces.
    • Allow Other Workspaces To See Projects: Allow Other Workspaces To See Projects.
    • Select Workspaces to share Projects with / Workspaces To Share Projects With: Selects which workspaces to share projects with.
    • Additional Workspaces: Additional Workspaces.

  • General Settings

    • General Settings: Project-related general settings area.
    • General Settings Label: Label shown for General Settings.
