Report Builder Dashboard

Overview

The Report Builder module is a customizable reporting engine for project and financial data. In this feature, you work from the Dashboard area and use Create New Report to start building a report.

How to access

In the Compass sidebar, go to Report Builder and select Dashboard.

Key features

  • Dashboard area for working with reports.
  • Scheduled Reports area for working with scheduled reports.
  • Click Create New Report to open Create New Report.
  • Build New Report.
  • Saved Report and Scheduled Report options.
  • View Logs for reports.
  • Delete Report and Delete Schedule.

Field descriptions

  • Report Title: The title of the report.
  • Report Type: The type of report.
  • Data Source: The data source used to build the report.
  • Build New Report: Used to build a new report.
  • Create New Report: Used to create a new report.
  • Saved Report: Indicates a saved report.
  • Scheduled Report: Indicates a scheduled report.
  • Schedule Name: The name of a schedule.
  • Period (Frequency): The schedule frequency period.
  • Weekdays: The weekdays used for a schedule.
  • Time: The time used for a schedule.
  • Time Picker: Used to pick a time.
  • Internal Recipients (Users): Internal recipients who are users.
  • External Recipients (Emails): External recipient email addresses.
  • Email Subject: The subject for an email.
  • Email Message: The message for an email.
  • Report Link: A link associated with the report.
  • Access Level: The access level for the report.
  • Private: Marks the report as private.
  • Active: Marks the report as active.
  • Administration Notes: Notes for administration.
  • Dashboard Content: Content shown on the dashboard.
  • Project Detail: Project detail option.
  • Task Detailed: Task detailed option.
  • Trip Detailed: Trip detailed option.
  • }>Export: Export.

  • Projects Report.Table Table columns: ID, Project Name, Status, Stage, Health, Internal, Private, At Risk, Risk Type, Primary Director, Secondary Director, Primary Target Completion Date, Secondary Target Completion Date, Risk Adjusted Completion Date, Blueprint, Parent Project, Workspaces, Initiating Workspace, Tags, Count in Statistics, Created At, Updated At, Created By, Updated By.
  • Tasks Report.Table Table columns: ID, Title, Description, Status, Health, Priority, Flagged, Major Milestone, % Completed, Project, Will Delay Project, Delay Raises Red Flag, Category, Sub Category, Departments, Disciplines, Teams, Tags, Owners, Assignees, Assignee(s) Roles, Start Date, Due Date, Completion Date, Duration (days), Related Milestone, Task Catalog Item, Created At, Updated At, Created By, Updated By.
