Task Catalog Item Dependencies
Overview
Task Catalog Item Dependencies lets you configure dependencies for a specific task catalog item. You use it to define which other task the catalog item depends on, along with the dependency offset, type, and description. This feature is part of the Tasks module’s task catalog item experience.
How to access
- In the Compass sidebar, go to Task Management.
- Click Task Catalogs (permission required).
- Open a catalog item (shown as Catalog Item).
- In the catalog item tabs, click Task Information.
Key features
- Configure dependencies for a task catalog item using Configure Dependencies.
- View and manage dependency rows in the Task Catalog Item Dependencies Table.
- Delete dependency entries using Delete dependency.
Field descriptions
The Task Catalog Item Dependencies Table includes these fields:
- Actions: Use available actions for a dependency row (including deleting a dependency).
- Task: The predecessor task for the dependency.
- Offset: The offset value for the dependency.
- Type: The dependency type (shown as Dependency Type:).
- Description: A description for the dependency.
