Task Catalog Item Matrix

Overview​

The matrix-related controls (for example, viewing matrix information and managing matrix rows) are available within task catalog item configuration. These labels and controls may appear as part of catalog item settings such as Project-based Overrides.

How to access​

  1. In the Compass sidebar, click Task Catalogs (permission required).
  2. Open a catalog, then open a Catalog Item.
  3. If available for the catalog item, open the Project-based Overrides section to view matrix-related controls.

Key features​

  • View the Matrix Info Bar (when present).
  • Manage matrix rows (when present):
    • Move row up
    • Move row down
    • Delete row
  • Reset matrix settings using Reset to Default (when present).
  • Remove the matrix using Delete Matrix (when present).

Field descriptions​

This feature uses the following labels and controls:

  • Project-based Overrides: a catalog item setting that may be available depending on the catalog item.
  • Matrix Info Bar: shows matrix information for the catalog item (when present).
  • Move row up: moves the selected matrix row up.
  • Move row down: moves the selected matrix row down.
  • Delete row: deletes the selected matrix row.
  • Reset to Default: resets the matrix to default settings.
  • Delete Matrix: deletes the matrix.
