Task Catalog Rules

Overview

Task Catalog Rules lets you work with rules in the Tasks module’s Task Catalogs area. In this feature, you view and manage rule records that appear in the catalog-level Rules tab, including Creation Rules, Applicability Rules, and Configuration Rules.

How to access

  1. In the Compass sidebar, go to Tasks.
  2. Click Task Catalogs.
  3. Open a task catalog.
  4. Click the Rules tab.

Note: Task Catalogs is capability-gated (permission required). The Rules tab is listed as disabled/under development: “Re-enable Rules tab once functionality is fully complete.”

Key features

  • The catalog-level Rules tab is currently disabled/under development, so rule search, creation, linking, deletion, and view reset actions are not available.

Field descriptions

Applicability Rules Table

  • Actions: Rule actions available from the table.
  • Name: The rule name.
  • Apply to Project: The project the rule applies to.
  • Created By: The user who created the rule.
  • Created On: The date the rule was created.

Creation Rules Table

  • Actions: Rule actions available from the table.
  • Name: The rule name.
  • Type: The rule type.
  • Created By: The user who created the rule.
  • Created On: The date the rule was created.

Configuration Rules Table

  • Actions: Rule actions available from the table.
  • Name: The rule name.
  • Created By: The user who created the rule.
  • Created On: The date the rule was created.
