Trash & Recovery
Recover deleted items before they're permanently removed.
Overview
When you delete items in Compass, they're moved to the Trash rather than being permanently deleted immediately. This gives you a safety net to recover accidentally deleted items.
What Goes to Trash
The following items can be recovered from Trash:
- Projects
- Tasks
- Budgets
- Documents
- Contacts
- Trips
Note: Deleted items remain in Trash for a limited time before being permanently removed.

- Click your Profile icon in the top right
- Select Trash from the menu
- Or go directly to Settings → Trash
Viewing Deleted Items
The Trash shows all deleted items you have access to, including the item name, type, who deleted it, and when.
