User Base Information

Overview

User Base Information lets you view and edit a user’s base information in the Users And Roles module. You use it when you need to open User Details and update the user’s personal information and access-related fields.

How to access

  1. In the Compass sidebar, open Users And Roles.
  2. Click the Users tab.
  3. Open View User Details for the user you want to manage.
  4. In the user view, click the Base Information tab.

Key features

  • View User Details for a single user.
  • Edit User to update the user’s information.
  • Create New User to add a new user.
  • Activate user.
  • Disable user.
  • Delete user.

Field descriptions

  • First Name: The user’s first name.
  • Last Name: The user’s last name.
  • Email Address: The user’s email address.
  • Add Email Address: Add an additional email address for the user.
  • Phone Number: The user’s phone number.
  • Office Phone Number: The user’s office phone number.
  • Position: The user’s position.
  • Location: The user’s location.
  • Timezone: The user’s timezone.
  • Type: The user type (shown as Internal or External User? in the module fields).
  • User Status: The user’s status (includes Disabled and Invited).
  • Assignee(s): The roles assigned to the user.
  • Team Lead: Indicates whether the user is a team lead.
  • Team: The user’s team.
  • Access Expiration Date: The date the user’s access expires.
  • Access Code: The user’s access code (when applicable).
  • Project Access: The user’s project access.
  • Security Settings: A section/group for the user’s security-related settings.
  • Personal Information: A section/group for the user’s personal information.
  • User Avatar / User Photo: The user’s avatar or photo.
