Single Workflow

Overview

Single Workflow lets you edit a workflow in the Workflows & Notifications module. You use it to work with the workflow’s Information, Entity, Trigger, Conditions, Actions, and Success.

How to access

  1. In your Compass workspace, go to Workflows & Notifications.
  2. Select the Workflows tab.
  3. From the Workflows Dashboard, open a workflow to go to Single Workflow Navigation.

Key features

  • Edit Workflow so you can update the workflow configuration.
  • Discard changes while editing.
  • Configure Actions and Bind Actions to Workflow using Existing Actions and Selected Actions.
  • Add Condition to build a Workflow Condition List using supported condition types:
    • Text Condition
    • Number Condition
    • Date Condition
    • Boolean Condition
    • User Condition
  • Trigger setup using:
    • Time Dependent Trigger
    • Periodic Trigger
    • On Change Trigger
  • On change data selection using What data changes should trigger your workflow? and Trigger Field Select.

Field descriptions

  • Name: The workflow name.
  • Description: The workflow description.
  • Entity / Source Entity / Related Entity / Target Entity: The entity selection fields used in the workflow setup.
  • Workflow Trigger / Trigger Field Select / Date Field triggering the workflow: Fields used to define what should trigger your workflow.
  • Add Trigger Time / When should the workflow be triggered? / Anchor / Add Date Field / Date Field / Date Range Field: Fields used to configure time-based triggering.
  • Workflow Condition / Workflow Condition List / Execute workflow if...: Fields used to define conditions for execution.
  • Text Field / Text Area Field / Number Field / Date Field / Date Range Picker / Checkbox Field / Checkbox Group / Radio Field / Switch Field: Field types available when defining conditions and data.
  • What should trigger your workflow? / What should happen when your workflow is executed: Workflow setup prompts used during configuration.
  • Actions / Action List Item / Workflow Action / Configure Actions / Bind Actions to Workflow / Existing Actions / Selected Actions: Fields used to select and bind actions to the workflow.
  • Email Configuration / Recipients / Users / Roles / Email Addresses: Fields used to configure recipients.
  • To the Email Address listed in / To the User listed in: Recipient targeting options.
  • CC Users / CC Roles / CC Email Addresses / CC the User listed in / CC the Email Address listed in: CC recipient fields.
  • BCC Users / BCC Roles / BCC Email Addresses / BCC the User listed in / BCC the Email Address listed in: BCC recipient fields.
  • Subject / Body / Content / Notes / File: Fields used when configuring action content.
