Creating Properties
Learn how to add and manage properties in Compass.
Overview
Properties represent physical locations or facilities in Compass. Each property stores address, stakeholder, contact, and business information and can be associated with projects, surveys, and other modules.
Creating a Property
Step 1: Open the Form
- Navigate to the Properties module.
- Click the Create Property button in the header.
- The Create New Property modal will appear.
Step 2: Fill in Information
The form is divided into several sections:
Base Information
Core details identifying the property.

Physical location details.

Custom Fields
Any additional fields configured in Property Settings will appear here.
Step 3: Save
Click Create Property to finalize the record. You can edit these details later by opening the property from the dashboard.
