Property Settings

Configure custom fields to extend your property data.

Overview

Property Settings allows administrators to define custom fields that appear on all property records. This is essential for tracking organization-specific data points like internal codes, classifications, or facility features.

Managing Custom Fields

Accessing Settings

  1. Navigate to Properties in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Settings tab in the module header.

Defining Custom Fields

  1. In the Define Custom Fields section, use the form to add new fields.
  2. Configure the field properties:
    • Label: The name displayed on the form.
    • Type: Choose the field type (e.g., Text, Number, Date, Select).
    • Required: Toggle if this field is mandatory.
    • Placeholder: Optional help text.
  3. Click Save to apply changes.

The available field types are provided by the shared Custom Fields system used across Compass modules.

Usage

Once defined, these custom fields appear in the Custom Fields section of both the Create Property modal and the Single Property View.
