Absence Management Settings

Overview​

The Settings tab is one of the header navigation tabs in the Absence Management module. This page provides access to the module’s Settings area, alongside the other tabs: Dashboard, Absence Requests, and Blocked Periods.

How to access​

  1. In the Compass sidebar, open Absence Management.
  2. Click the Settings tab.

Key features​

  • Open the Settings area within the Absence Management module.
  • Navigate to other Absence Management areas using the header tabs (Dashboard, Absence Requests, Blocked Periods, Settings).

Field descriptions​

The following items are fields available in the Absence Management module. This document does not assume where they appear within the Settings tab.

  • Approve Request: Used when approving an absence request.
  • Carry Over Holidays: Used when carrying over holiday entitlement as part of a holiday carryover request.
  • Open Approvals Dashboard: Used to open the approvals dashboard for reviewing items that need approval.
