Creating a Survey
Step 1: Start Creation
- Go to Surveys
- Click Create New Survey
Step 2: Select Template
The Create Survey modal requires you to select a template:

| Template | Select a survey template from the dropdown | Yes |
- Search for templates by name using the search field
- Templates define the survey's questions, structure, and default settings
- You must have at least one template created before you can create a survey
Note: To create surveys, you first need to set up Survey Templates. See Survey Templates.
- Click Create
Step 3: Configure Survey
After creation, the application navigates to the survey's management view. The survey is organized into these tabs:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Survey Settings | Base information (Category, Template, Expiration Date, Private toggle, Description), Related Projects, and Response Handling configuration |
| Survey Form | Design the questionnaire using the SurveyJS form builder |
| Invitations | Send email invitations and track distribution status |
| Responses | View and manage submitted responses |
| Response Rules | Define automated actions based on response values |
Survey Settings — Base Information
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Category | Classify the survey (supports inline create, edit, delete) |
| Template | The template used to create the survey (read-only) |
| Expiration Date | Date when the survey stops accepting responses |
| Private | When enabled, only invited people can submit a response |
| Description | Additional context about the survey |
Survey Settings — Related Projects
Link the survey to one or more projects. Search for projects and add them as tags.
