Project Blueprint Base Information

Overview​

Project Blueprint Base Information is where you set up the base information for a project blueprint in the Projects module. This feature is part of the Blueprints area and includes the Base Information tab and related labels used when creating a new project.

How to access​

  1. In the Projects module, go to Blueprints.
  2. Open a Single Blueprint.
  3. Go to the Base Information tab.

Key features​

  • Work with a Single Blueprint using the Base Information tab.
  • Use the Blueprint Wizard Steps flow: Base Information → Facility Details → Custom Fields → Day Rates → Summary (steps may vary depending on blueprint configuration and enabled sections).
  • Use Upload Blueprint Icon.
  • Use Delete Blueprint.
  • Share a blueprint using Share with other Workspaces and Choose Workspaces to share this Blueprint with.
  • Access to blueprint management is permission-based for Manage Blueprint Base.

Field descriptions​

The following fields and labels are used in Project Blueprint Base Information (as listed in the Projects module summary):

  • Project Blueprint Name: The name of the project blueprint.
  • Blueprint Details: The blueprint’s details area.
  • Base Information: The base information area for the blueprint.
  • General Settings / General Settings Label: General settings area and its label.
  • Define Fields Label: Label used for defining fields.
  • Categories / Category / Choose a category / Category Name: Category selection and category naming fields.
  • Description: Description field for the blueprint.
  • Internal Project: Indicates an internal project setting in the blueprint.
  • Private Project: Indicates a private project setting in the blueprint.
  • Count In Project Statistics / Count in Project Statistics: Setting related to counting in project statistics (as labeled).
  • Allow Other Workspaces To See Projects: Setting related to visibility across workspaces.
  • Additional Workspaces: Additional workspaces associated with sharing.
  • Choose Workspaces to share this Blueprint with: Workspace selection for blueprint sharing.
  • Shared Blueprint: Indicates the blueprint is shared.
  • Blueprint Catalog / Blueprint Item: Blueprint catalog and item labels used in the blueprint context.
  • Change History: Label used in the blueprint context.
  • Actions: Actions label used in tables and menus.
  • Name: Name field label used in the blueprint context.
