Project Blueprint Rules

Overview​

The Projects module includes a Rules tab within a project blueprint. This documentation describes the presence of that tab in the blueprint UI; it does not confirm any specific end-user rule-management capabilities beyond what is represented by available tabs and labels.

How to access​

  1. In the Projects module header navigation, click Blueprints.
  2. Open a Single Blueprint.
  3. If available for your permissions and configuration, click the Rules tab.

Key features​

  • Blueprints area access: You work with this from the Projects module Blueprints area and within a Single Blueprint.
  • Rules tab on a blueprint: The Rules tab appears alongside other Blueprint tabs, including Base Information, Billing (Blueprint tab), Related Task Catalogs, Facility Details, Custom Fields, and Day Rates (Blueprint tab).
  • Blueprint wizard context: Blueprint setup uses the wizard steps Base Information → Facility Details → Custom Fields → Day Rates → Summary (the wizard steps do not include a Rules step).

Field descriptions​

The Module Summary lists the following fields and labels in the Projects module:

  • Rules: A blueprint tab label.
  • Ignore creation rules: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Apply To: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Conditional Field: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Boolean Field Change: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Date Field Change: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Text Field Change: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Day Rate Array Field Change: A field/label available in the Projects module.
  • Facility Detail Field Change: A field/label available in the Projects module.
