Project Settings

Configure project preferences and advanced options.

Global Module Settings

Administrators can configure settings that apply to the entire Projects module.

  1. Go to Projects dashboard.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the top right.
  3. Configure module-level options:
    • Allow Other Workspaces To See Projects: Toggle to enable cross-workspace project visibility.
    • Workspaces To Share Projects With (only visible when the above toggle is enabled): Select which workspaces can see your projects.
    • Master Project Identifier (only visible when cross-workspace sharing is enabled): Set the root identifier for project hierarchy.

Project Configuration

To edit details for a specific project:

  1. Open the Project.
  2. Navigate to the Overview tab.
  3. Use the Edit context (if available) or update fields directly in the widgets:
    • Base Information: Name, Dates, Directors.
    • Status: Change workflow state (e.g., Active -> Completed).
    • Custom Fields: Update specific project data points.

Deleting a Project

Permanently remove a project and its associated data:

  1. Open the project.
  2. Locate the Delete Project button in the top header action menu.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

⚠️ Warning: Deleting a project is permanent. To preserve history, consider changing the Status to "Cancelled" or "Archived" (if available in your blueprint) instead.
