Budget Blueprints: Base Information

Overview​

The Base Information feature lets you view and work with base information for a blueprint in the Budget Estimator module. This feature is part of Budget Blueprints and supports budgeting for CapEx, OpEx, and Service Revenue.

How to access​

  1. Click Budget Blueprints.
  2. Open a blueprint.
  3. Click the Base Information tab.

Key features​

  • View Budget Blueprints and open a blueprint.
  • Use the Base Information tab on a blueprint.
  • Use the Change History tab on a blueprint.
  • Work with blueprint-related options and information, including:
    • Blueprint Name
    • Blueprint Selection
    • Select Budget Blueprint
    • Budget based on a Blueprint
    • Add Catalogs to Blueprint
    • Add Catalogs to Blueprint

Field descriptions​

The following fields are available in this feature (as listed in the Budget Estimator module):

  • Blueprint Name: The name of the blueprint.
  • Blueprint Selection: Used to select a blueprint.
  • Select Budget Blueprint: Used to select a budget blueprint.
  • Add Catalogs to Blueprint: Used to add catalogs to a blueprint.
  • Catalogs: Catalogs associated with budgeting.
  • Budget Type: The type used for budgets and blueprints (includes Cap Ex, Op Ex, and Service Revenue as listed status values).
  • Owner: The owner associated with the blueprint.
  • Date: A date field used in the module.
  • Description: A description field used in the module.
