Budget Items
Overview
Budget Items lets you view and work with the line items inside a budget in the Budget Estimator module. You use it to review budget item details and manage items across CapEx, OpEx, and Service Revenue.
How to access
- In the Compass sidebar, click Budget Estimator.
- Open a budget (View Budget Details).
- Click the Budget Items tab.
Key features
- View budget items within a budget using the Budget Items tab.
- Add a budget item using Add Item.
- Create budget items by type using the modals Create CapEx Budget Item, Create OpEx Budget Item, and Create Service Revenue Budget Item.
- Delete a budget item using Delete Budget Item.
- View budget item documents using Budget Item Documents and View Documents (in the Documents tab).
- View budget item files using Budget Item Files.
- Add an actual entry for a budget item using Actual.
- Review budget totals and comparisons, including Budgeted vs Actual and Variance.
