Catalog Item Information

Overview

Catalog Item Information lets you view the details of a single catalog item in the Budget Estimator module. From this feature, you work within the catalog item tabs to review information, attachments, rules, and history for that item.

How to access

  1. In the Compass sidebar, go to Budget Estimator.
  2. Click the Catalogs tab.
  3. Go to the Catalog Information tab.

Key features

  • View a single catalog item in Catalog Item Detail.
  • Use the catalog item tabs: Catalog Information, Attachment(s), Rules, and History.
  • View catalog item details shown in Catalog Item Detailed and the Catalog Metadata Bar.
  • View and update the catalog item photo (modal title: Catalog Item Photo).
  • Manage catalog item rules:
    • Click Create New Rule (modal title: Create New Rule).
    • Click Link Existing Rules (modal title: Link Existing Rules).
    • Click Edit rule (modal title: Edit rule).
    • Click Delete Rule (modal title: Delete Rule).
    • Use Unlink rule.
  • Manage catalog item attachments:
    • View the Catalog Attachments Table (columns: Actions, Name, Date Created, Added By).

Field descriptions

The following fields are available for catalog items in this feature (as shown in catalog item tables and details):

  • Name: The catalog item name.
  • Description: The catalog item description.
  • Category: The catalog item category.
  • Sub Category: The catalog item subcategory.
  • Department: The department associated with the catalog item.
  • Payable To: Who the catalog item is payable to.
  • Sales Tax: Sales tax information for the catalog item.
  • Unit Cost: The unit cost for the catalog item.
  • Initial Cost: The initial cost for the catalog item.
  • Qty / Quantity: The quantity for the catalog item.
  • Quantity Unit: The unit used for the quantity.
  • PAR Level: The PAR level for the catalog item.
  • Multiplier: The multiplier applied to the catalog item.
  • Requires Procurement: Indicates whether procurement is required.
  • Vendor Part Number: The vendor part number.
  • Desk For Part Number: The desk part number field shown for catalog items.
  • Manufacturer Part Number: The manufacturer part number.
  • Lead Time: The lead time for the catalog item.
  • Quantity Driver: The quantity driver shown for catalog items.
  • Transferable: Indicates whether the catalog item is transferable.

Rule-related fields shown on the Rules tab (Catalog Rules Table columns):

  • Title: The rule title.
  • Notes: Notes for the rule.
  • Priority: The rule priority.
  • Created On: When the rule was created.
  • Created By: Who created the rule.
