Budget Custom Fields

Overview​

Budget Custom Fields is a Budget Estimator feature that lets you capture additional, organization-specific information on a budget beyond the standard budgeting fields used for CapEx, OpEx, and Service Revenue. Use it to record details your team needs for reporting or internal processes (for example, department-specific tracking or other required metadata) while working in the Budget Estimator module.

How to access​

In the Compass sidebar, go to Budget Estimator and click Budget Blueprints or Budget Catalogs (permission required).

Key features​

  • Add and review Budget Custom Fields as part of a budget’s information.
  • Use Budget Estimator navigation tabs: Dashboard, Budget Approvals, Budget Blueprints, and Catalogs.
  • Access Budget Blueprints and Budget Catalogs only when you have permission (capability-gated features).

Field descriptions​

This feature includes the following field:

  • Budget Custom Fields: A set of additional fields associated with a budget for capturing extra details required by your organization.
