OpEx Blueprints (Budget Estimator)

Overview​

OpEx Blueprints is part of the Budget Estimator module and supports project budgeting for OpEx. In this feature, you work with Budget Blueprints and related blueprint information such as Blueprint Name and Blueprint Selection. Access to Budget Blueprints is permission-based.

How to access​

  1. In the Compass sidebar, open Budget Estimator.
  2. Click Budget Blueprints.
  3. Click the OpEx tab.

Key features​

  • View Budget Blueprints using the listing tabs: All, CapEx, OpEx, Service Revenue.
  • Open a Single Blueprint and use the tabs:
    • Base Information
    • Change History
  • Use Add Catalogs to Blueprint to add Catalogs to a blueprint.
  • Use Add Catalogs to Blueprint with Select Catalogs and Select Catalog Item(s).
  • Use blueprint actions that are listed in the module:
    • Delete blueprint
    • View blueprint
  • Work with blueprint-related fields shown in this area, including Blueprint Information, Blueprint Metadata Bar, Blueprint Name, and Blueprint Selection.

Field descriptions​

  • Blueprint Name: The name shown for a budget blueprint.
  • Type: The blueprint type, including Op Ex.
  • Owner: The owner shown for a blueprint.
  • Date Created: The date the blueprint was created.
  • Last Modified: The last modified date shown for a blueprint.
  • Blueprint Information: Information shown for the blueprint.
  • Blueprint Metadata Bar: Metadata shown for the blueprint.
  • Blueprint Selection: The blueprint selection field used when selecting a blueprint.
  • Add Catalogs to Blueprint: Adds catalogs to a blueprint.
  • Select Catalogs: Lets you select catalogs to add to a blueprint.
  • Select Catalog Item(s): Lets you select catalog items.

Blueprints table columns

  • Actions, Name, Type, Date Created, Owner, Last Modified.
