Catalog Overview

Overview​

Catalog Overview is part of the Budget Estimator module and supports project budgeting for CapEx, OpEx, and Service Revenue. In this feature, you work with Catalogs and Catalog Items, and you can review information, attachments, rules, and history.

How to access​

In the Compass sidebar, go to Budget Estimator and click Catalogs.

Key features​

  • View Catalogs using the sub-tabs All, CapEx, OpEx, and Service Revenue.
  • View a catalog’s Overview and Change History.
  • View Catalog Items.
  • Create a catalog using Create Catalog.
  • Edit a catalog using Edit Catalog.
  • Delete a catalog using Delete Catalog.
  • Delete catalog items using Delete Catalog Items.
  • Duplicate a catalog item using Duplicate catalog item.
  • Import catalog items using Import Catalog Items.
  • Use Go to Catalog to navigate to a catalog.
  • Use Reset view.

Field descriptions​

The following fields and labels appear in the Catalogs area of Budget Estimator:

  • Catalogs tabs: Overview, Change History
  • Catalog Item tabs: Catalog Information, Attachment(s), Rules, History
  • Catalogs table columns: Actions, Name, Created, Owner, Type, Project Type, Category, Catalog Items
  • Catalog Items table columns: Action, Name, Quantity Driver, PAR Level, Unit Cost, Description
  • Catalog Rules table columns: Actions, Title, Notes, Priority, Created On, Created By
  • Catalog Attachments table columns: Actions, Name, Date Created, Added By
  • Capex Catalog Items table columns: Actions, Name, Description, Category, Sub Category, Department, Payable To, Transferable, Sales Tax, Unit Cost, Initial Cost, Qty, Quantity Unit, PAR Level, Multiplier, Require Procurement, Vendor Part Number, Desk For Part Number, Manufacturer Part Number, Lead Time
  • Select Catalogs table columns: Name, Type, Project Type, Category, Catalog Items
  • Select Catalog Items table columns: Type, Name, Description, Quantity Driver, PAR Level, Unit Cost
  • Catalog item fields and labels: Name, Description, Category, Sub Category, Department, Payable To, Sales Tax, Unit Cost, Initial Cost, Quantity, Quantity Unit, PAR Level, Multiplier, Vendor Part Number, Manufacturer Part Number, Lead Time, Specifications, Weight, Dimension (height), Dimension (length), Dimension (width), Manufacturer(s), Vendor(s), Distributor(s), Distributor Part #, Photo
